![]() Item 3: Two original officers Japanese Katana swords captured during WW11 by an Australian officer who was serving their at the time. The first is a fine family sword with an early Samurai blade from the Edo period measuring 25" long and is filled with nice family Menuki with outstanding Kashira at the end of the hilt, unsigned and in perfect original condition. The second sword at the bottom has a good quality blade signed by maker "Yoshi Suke" with the hilt being well kept early standard arsenal and the tsuba being very old and clearly a family heirloom. The sword dates c1930 and has a 27" blade and has a very fine laquered scabbard indicating a man of some rank. In perfect original condition. $US3,600 pair |
